Hey Everyone!

We just wanted to let you all know that we made it safely to Zanzibar! It was a crazy day of traveling, including buying oranges through the bus window, riding on the front of a ferry because there were no more seats, and watching Zamzam step on to a beach for the first time! We are staying in Stone Town for tonight, and then head out tomorrow to Kendwa Rocks where we will be staying for a few days! The entire island lost all power about two weeks ago, but we've found an internet place running on a generator, so we wanted to let you all know we're safe! We will update as soon as we can, but for now, think of us on the sandy white beaches!!!

Love,
Kasey

That is great! Safe, and seeing through the eyes of a person for the first time is amazing! I remember the first time I saw a beach and ocean...We went to visit our aunt in Norfolk...at that time...we could have cook outs on the beach, and the beach had lots of sand dunes...

I know you will have lots of pictures...we look forward to them. It is more like July here...hot and humid...

Take care...love you both. Grandma and Papa...

hey guys! I had my first Swahili class today - I learned to count to 199, say very good, teacher, student, and tell time on the hour...thought of yall the whole time. My mwalimu is Kenyan, I told him about you - he said to get you to bring back lots of cheap t-shirts with Swahili writing and to take tons of pictures of the wildlife and nature. I miss you lots and will continue to practice my language via blogger until your return. Kwaheri!
